What it does
The Mono and Channel Matrix Monitor offers useful listening and diagnostic routes: stereo, mono sum, left only, right only and channel swap. A properly buffered mono sum and relay switching avoid tying channels together. It is intended to reveal channel differences and wiring problems, not to improve the recording or create a surround effect.
Required but not included
- compatible line-level source and receiving amp/powered speakers and interconnects. A matched low-voltage supply is included when the ordered configuration requires one.
Included
- Stereo channel matrix monitor and matched low-voltage supply when the ordered configuration requires one.
What it does not do
- A buffered mono sum does not tie channels together. Monitoring routes diagnose differences; they do not improve recordings or create surround sound.
