What it does
Attach both cable ends to the matching interchangeable panels, select its documented pinout profile and read a conductor-by-conductor fault map. The analyzer applies protected low-voltage test signals; it is for disconnected cables only. A cable that passes continuity can still fail at video bandwidth or under flex, so this is not a bandwidth certification tool.
Required but not included
- Cable under test and any connector panel not selected.
Included
- base, selected panel pair, matched supply and profile sheet.
What it does not do
- Disconnected cables only. Passing continuity does not certify video bandwidth or performance under flex. Unusual pinouts require review.
