What it does
The Stereo Analog Level Monitor displays the two channels of a compatible line-level feed so you can see balance and changing level while listening or setting up a system. Its buffered, high-impedance input keeps the display from materially loading its source. Each unit has its reference setting and calibration recorded. It is a monitor, not a processor, recorder, or loudness standard.
Required but not included
- a stereo line-level monitor or tape output and suitable interconnects; source equipment and cables are separate. A matched low-voltage supply is included. Confirm whether the chosen source output is fixed or variable before interpreting readings.
Included
- Stereo analog level monitor, matched low-voltage supply, and build-specific reference/calibration record.
What it does not do
- Visual indication only; it is not an absolute mastering or loudness measurement.
