What it does
Select one of sixteen composite or S-Video and stereo-audio source positions for one output set. The standard design keeps the video formats separate. Confirm control interfaces and source wiring for the selected configuration. Choose your hardwood species, finish, joinery and edge profile. What it does not do
- Confirm the selected controls, power supply and other configuration details before ordering.
- Composite remains composite; S-Video remains S-Video. No conversion between them.
- No HDMI conversion, scaling, deinterlacing, resolution conversion or RF demodulation.
- One selected source feeds one output set. No independent second destination, mixing or picture-in-picture.
- No support for component YPbPr or RGB merely because connectors fit.
- Use the supply and control interfaces specified for your configuration; consult the product reference for connection requirements.

What it does
The standard design selects one numbered source position from sixteen composite, S-Video and stereo audio positions. Its corresponding composite, S-Video and stereo outputs feed one destination set. It is intended for collections of retro consoles, VCRs, laserdisc players, cameras and other standard-definition analog equipment.
Commissioned made-to-order build
This made-to-order build is configured for your source equipment and destination. We agree the control interfaces, scope, exclusions and estimated ship date before payment. Material scope changes require your approval or a refund.
Keep each signal in its original format
Connect a composite source to a composite-capable destination and an S-Video source to an S-Video-capable destination. The unit does not synthesize the other format. A separate suitable scaler or converter is required for an HDMI-only display.
Confirm available controls
Confirm availability of local selection, RS-232, dry-contact, infrared and network control for the selected configuration. First-run Wi-Fi uses a temporary setup access point and local page; normal switching is intended to work through a local browser or versioned LAN API without a required cloud account. These interfaces remain subject to the accepted commission scope.
Need more than one destination?
Multiple buffered copies of one selected source and an independently selectable 16×2 router are different designs. They require additional electronics, enclosure space, engineering, testing, price and production time. Request a custom build with source and destination counts, whether outputs must select independently, signal formats and controls.
Order scope
The accepted configuration identifies the controls, included items, exclusions and estimated ship date. Changes to a material part of the order require your approval or an applicable refund.
Shipping
Shipping options and charges are shown before payment. Carrier transit starts after production. The accepted shipping charge is fixed for an unchanged address, configuration and service.
Made-to-order price and scope
Base price $1,069. Estimated production 6 weeks. Exact configuration, included items, exclusions and ship date are agreed before payment.
Cabinet and controls
Select a hardwood cabinet, including hickory, with your preferred finish, corner joinery, edge treatment and optional ebony inlay. Satin and piano black are opaque finishes. The optional one-row direct-select panel has 16 numbered buttons, a small indicator above each, and only the selected input is lit. Choose green, amber, red, blue or warm white indicators; a rear knob adjusts brightness. The polished solid brass button panel is hand-machined and polished.
Compare wood before ordering
The material sample kit offers real hardwood and finish samples, including hickory. Its eligible merchandise credit applies to a qualifying switcher order.
